Based out of the historic Racine Business Center in Wisconsin, I spend long days & nights in my fourth floor studio working on design & ceramics. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design & Studio Art in December of 2018. I have been working in the design industry for 5+ years, with experience in print design, digital design, motion graphics, & UI design. Over the years, I have learned how to design in Webflow, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & After Effects.
I thrive on creating brand identity design & websites for Queer-led businesses that challenge the status-quo. I combine my skills, knowledge, and passion for graphic design to deliver stellar brand experiences. I believe every brand is unique, just like the entrepreneur behind it.
It takes a community to uplift entrepreneurs like me & you. Our success is built on genuine relationships & I want to make authentic connections. Please check out my social medias to spark a conversation in the comment section.
I love the handmade nature of my ceramics; every bump and lump is a character trait unique to itself. I started my journey into ceramics in the winter of 2019, right after I graduated from college. My favorite clay creations are tiny pendants & mugs. I am actively exploring my style in this medium & see my functional works more as artwork than kitchenware & accessories.
I have two precious kitties named Turpentine & Varnish. Both of my boys have their own quirks that I adore. Varnish, the gray cat, is food motivated, loves to cuddle in my lap, & plays with crinkly plastic. Turpentine gently taps me awake for breakfast, flops on my partner's feet when he wants to play, & goes wild for a yarn toy.
In 2021, I made it a new year's resolution to be more active. I discovered a spiritual connection with the beach at Lake Michigan. I spend anywhere from 1-6 hours a week walking up & down the plethora of beaches around me. I find all manner of hidden treasures, such as beach glass, fossils, quartz, & pottery. By incorporating my finds into my ceramic work, I give my finds another life.
